Call to make an appointment to bring in 35 of your clean, seasonally appropriate, clothing items, toys, games, furniture and gear. Do you have just a few items? You may bring in up to 6 items at any time without an appointment.
Bring in your items lying flat and stacked in a laundry basket, bin or box. No bags please. Tuck pants or hats inside shirt if it is an outfit. Please button your buttons, zip your zippers and snap your snaps.
Appointments are scheduled every half hour, 7 days a week. Your appointment will only take about 10 minutes. When you arrive we will look thru the items you have brought us while you look around. Please feel free to bring your children with you to your appointment; we have lots of things for them to play with!
Items accepted for consignment will be processed, tagged and hung and kept on the selling floor for 60 days plus a 5 day grace period. We price items based on original price, condition and our experience. Our goal is that your items sell. We keep prices affordable and reasonable, but still fair for the consignor and customer.
As your items sell, our computerized system will automatically credit your account with 50% of whatever the item sells for. That money is available to spend in the store, on anything in the store, right away and will stay on your account for 1 year. Most of our consignors check on their money as they are in the store shopping, but please feel free to call us at any time to check the status of your account.
For those of you who would prefer to take a check, you will receive 40% of whatever your item sells for and the money is available on the ODD month following the end of your 60 day consignment period. For example: Bring your items in April 1st, they will sell thru June 1st and the money would be available in July for a check.
We only send checks by mail and only if they are requested by providing us with a self addressed stamped envelope by the 15th of the ODD month. Checks are mailed out by the end of that month.
After the 60 day period ends you may either pick up your unsold items or have us donate them on your behalf. We will ask you at your appointment what you would like to do. If you choose pick up, we will provide you with an approximate pick up date; it is then your responsibility to come back at that time to pick up your items. When you come in for pick up, we will provide you with a list of what did not sell and then you can pick them from the racks. No appointment is necessary for pick up.
We donate all unsold items to local charities that do not resell the items.
At the end of the year, if requested, we can print you an itemized list of what you donated that year along with a tax donation receipt.
